The book to be discussed on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 is Karen Harper’s The Queene’s Christmas (2003), a Renaissance-era murder mystery set during Christmas 1564 involving Queen Elizabeth I of England during the time of the intrigue with and struggle against her cousin Mary Queen of Scots.
